Rubix cube is a very amazing and interesting toy played all over the world. The solution to this cube seems to be impossible if one don’t know the ways to solve it. It is easy to solve it after one get complete information about some algorithms. Although there are many methods to solve it, but the easiest method is the layer method. A Rubix cube is divided into three layers: the first layer, the middle layer and the last layer.
Now in order to start you have to select one face. First of all solve the cube in the cross direction. You should solve it in this direction without the help of algorithms. You can place all four edges in maximum eight moves. Then all four corners should be solved. Note that all corners should not be solved at once; they should be solved one by one. The first layer of the cube should be concluded with one of the solid color at the bottom in the end of first step.
After solving the first layer, start with the middle layer. In this step you have to place all the edges (four) one by one. In order to solve the middle layer you should know at least one algorithm. The second algorithm is same as the first one. Use the equivalent algorithm for placing other edges in their positions if the edge piece is in the wrong direction though it is fulfilling its position in the middle layer. In the end of this step your cube’s first two layers should be completed.
Now in the last step permute all corners. Regardless of the position of the corners, they are placed in their correct position. You have to locate two corners which should be adjacent and also have a common color. The color that they should share should be different to the color that is of the top layer. Then until the two corners are not in the position that is facing you, you should turn the top layer. For example if the two colors that are adjacent to each other are both of red color then you have to rotate the sides of the cube until the two corners are in the direction of red side of the Rubix cube. It is also worth mentioning here that the colors of the corners constituting the top most layers should be of the same color that is of that side.
Then you should ensure that the two corners facing the front should be in the correct position. You can also swap them if the need arises. For example if the left side of this amazing toy is blue and the right side is green then the facing corner on the left side should be blue and similarly the facing side on the right side must constitute green color. If you don’t observe this thing in your cube then with the help of the algorithm you have to swap those corners.
Therefore, by following the above mentioned steps you can solve your Rubix cube easily and successfully.
